Failure to notify in Norway may mean fines for 21 companies

At the beginning of February 2006, the Norwegian Competition Authority (NCA) sent warning notices of possible fines to 21 companies for failing to notify mergers and acquisitions within the prescribed time limit. The fines may be as much as NOK 80,000.
